About the event
Smokey House sits in a valley, surrounded by hills and mountains of complex and interesting geology. On this geology tour we will look at rocks that are tucked between the rocks of the valley and the mountains…rocks that tell a story of sedimentary deposition in an ancient ocean, and the tectonic forces that altered and transported the resulting rocks to their present location.
